How To Prevent Inflatable Christmas Decorations From Blowing Away

Outdoor Christmas decorations are a great way to create beautiful views outside of home during the holidays. Don't let a few strong winds blow them away. Properly fix the inflatable decorations, so you can rest assured that your investment will not be damaged by bad weather. Here are some tips to ensure the safety of inflatable equipment throughout the season.
  Location, location, location
You might think that the location of the inflatable device does not matter. However, if you want to avoid chasing them on windy days, you may want to consider where to place them. If possible, it is best to place them on a flat ground to provide them with a proper foundation. Another caveat to keep in mind is to avoid placing them in public. Objects placed next to walls or trees tend to be exposed to fewer wind gusts. When you start to protect them in the other ways described below, completing these two operations will also make it easier.
  Gravel bag
An easy way to suppress any outdoor aeration is to use a bag full of sand or gravel. It is recommended that you use two or three bags to secure the decorations correctly. When filling up your luggage, make sure not to fill it up, as they need to fit into the manhole of the inflator. After filling, tie it tightly to make sure that no sand or gravel is poured out. When placing them in the inflatable device, be careful when putting them through the manhole and on the base. To stay safe, spread the bag evenly.
  Tied up with twine
Another fairly simple way to secure the inflator is to use twine. Just wind the twine around about half the height of the inflator, and then tie the twine to a smooth cylindrical surface, such as a fence post or railing. If your decoration is not near the fence or front porch, we recommend taking wooden stakes and placing them on both sides of the inflatable device. Now you have the objects needed to wind twine. When winding the twine on the inflator, make sure not to wind it too tightly, otherwise it may cause damage. When tying twine to a cylinder or stake, it is important to make at least one complete loop to ensure the required safety.
  Protect them with chips
An effective way to fix stakes on the ground is to use stakes. Most inflatable decorations have a wide base, which includes holes for wooden stakes. Take some small lawn stakes and smash them into the ground as much as possible. If your inflatable device does not have enough space for these stakes, you can wrap a string around the inflatable device. When doing this, wrap the rope around the middle height, and then tie it to a wooden stake on the ground. Do not wind the rope too tightly, and make sure that you do not stretch the inflatable rope backward when you stretch the rope to the ground.
Metal chain lock provides extra security
The last way to ensure the safety of these inflatable devices throughout the holiday period is to use metal chain locks. Pass the chain lock through the light socket opening on the back of the decoration and connect it to the wooden stake on the ground. This will require you to place the metal or plastic pile directly behind the blow mold. After connecting the metal chain to the stake, smash it to the ground as much as possible. Coupled with the sand or gravel bag inside the decoration, it can provide more fixing effect.
Inflatable decorations are a great way to emphasize those amazing Christmas lights, garlands and other decorations. The last thing you want is to see all the hard work is wasted. We hope these tips will help you maintain these decorations throughout the season.
